If you’re like me, you have boxes and boxes of your child’s artwork sitting around. I just can’t bring myself to throw it out, but I also know it isn’t really being enjoyed sitting in a shoebox under 12 layers of dust. The delightful Liz Tamanaha of Paislee Press came up with the perfect solution for this problem – the Gallery Album No. 2.
The Gallery Album No. 2 from Paislee Press is is a set of layered templates (psd files) featuring open space and crisp white backgrounds, hand drawn frames and whimsical doodles – the perfect backdrop to showcase your most cherished photographs + artwork. Included in this kit are twenty 12×12 layered templates that you can mix and match to fit your project needs. Liz has even included some awesome layouts to use your book as a journal of your kids’ lives. It is a really amazing idea and a truly special thing that you can do for your children…. AND I HAVE ONE SET TO GIVE AWAY! (woohoo!)
This is going to be a Pinterest-only contest. Don’t have Pinterest? Sign up, silly! It’s awesome and chock-full of great ideas, crafts, recipes and inspiration.

What a great blog you have, so many inspiring ideas. Your post about feeling like a loser had me in tears, I feel the same way many days, but realize how fortunate I am to be a mom. I will be following you from now on. Thanks for the “not your average” ideas. http://pinterest.com/britleeb1/kids-family/
Hi there. I am in love with this art book idea!!!!! Can anyone explain to a digital novice like me how to use these gorgeous templates? When I go to Paislee Press’s shop I see the kit includes 20 12×12 layered templates (psd files) and 1 white canvas background paper (12×12, 300dpi high resolution jpg). This “canvas paper” doesn’t mean real paper, right? Is this second part a template for printing the cover of the book?
Once I have filled in the templates, is it just a matter of heading down to the local copyshop with the files and printing them – do they then need to be professionally bound?? I see “Shutterfly” supplies the templates and the finished book – great – but as I live in New Zealand, once I convert the currency and add the international shipping charge it becomes an expensive option.
[...] loving this idea for turning children’s artwork into a keepsake! (and an easy way to store it [...]
What a wonderful idea! My toddler is taking these great art classes and her work is piling up quick. This is a great way to put them all together. Thank you!!!
